“Everyday Ambassadors: Lessons from Socio-Legal Studies for a Fractured World.”

I delivered the Annual Oxford Lecture in Socio-Legal Studies lecture in May 2024 at the Centre of Socio-Legal Studies at Wolfson College, University of Oxford. Titled “Everyday Ambassadors: Lessons from Socio-Legal Studies for a Fractured World,” I shared ideas from my new book, Everyday Ambassadors, discussing actions individuals and communities can take to address the failures of our social and political institutions. A video of the lecture is available here.

Lecture at Leeds

I delivered the annual lecture of the Center for Law and Social Justice at the University of Leeds on November 25, 2024, sharing insights from my forthcoming book, “Everyday Ambassadors.” This lecture discussed how each of us can take action and use "tricks of the trade" from global governance insiders to drive progress on issues like climate change, migration, and inequality, rather than relying solely on formal institutions.
